Dry Eyes
Most of us have experienced that foreign body sensation that happens if the wind blows dust or sand under an eyelid. That uncomfortable feeling must be relieved-and quickly. For many of us, that same feeling of grittiness, dryness, burning or stinging or even excessive tearing cannot be relieved simply and could be the sign of a chronic condition known as dry eye syndrome.
Over the last 6 years, John Choi, MD has become regionally recognized for his clinical excellence in treating this uncomfortable, lifestyle limiting condition.
A large portion of the clinical practice of the Eye and Facial Clinic is Dr. Choi’s Dry Eye Clinic. His training as an Ophthalmologist and eyelid surgeon has uniquely qualified Dr. Choi to bring relief to patients suffering from this chronic condition.
Having brought relief to thousands of patients with dry eye conditions, Dr. Choi has developed clinical protocols specifically aimed at dry eye relief. This is a diagnostic treatment pathway that consists of an eye health exam focusing on the condition of the eye surface and surrounding eyelids. Expertise in all aspects of eyelid conditions and eye diseases is what sets Dr. Choi apart from other lesser-trained physicians.
If you are experiencing any of the symptoms described above and can answer “yes” to any of the following dry eye assessment questions, you could be helped by scheduling a Dry Eye Evaluation with Dr. Choi at the Eye and Facial Clinic (call 630-836-1616):
