Eye Exams
Regular eye examinations are important to maintain good health of our eyes. For both children and adults, annual eye examinations are recommended to check the visual acuity, eye pressure, eye alignment, and other eye functions.
If a person is wearing glasses or contacts, annual or even semi-annual check-ups are needed to monitor any fluctuation in vision. If a patient has known glaucoma, cataract, or other eye diseases, more frequent evaluation may be needed depending on the severity of the condition.
Of course, any sudden change in vision, loss of vision, new floaters, or trauma to eye area needs to be evaluated right away. Often these conditions represent emergencies that require immediate tretments.
